Education & Training
Dr. Beaupre earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan before completing his Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York College of Optometry, graduating in the top five percent of his class, earning multiple academic scholarships, and being inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key Optometric Honor Societies.
He then completed a Primary Care and Ocular Disease Residency at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in New York, training that deepened his expertise in complex ocular disease management and formed the clinical foundation for his practice at Horizon Eye Care.
Memberships & Recognition
Dr. Beaupre is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, serving on the Academy’s Admittance Committee. He lectures at continuing education events and serves as a clinical instructor for students from the New England College of Optometry and Illinois College of Optometry.
He has been recognized for excellence in ocular disease management, practice development, and administration, and has presented research on Optical Coherence Tomography at professional conferences — reflecting a commitment to advancing the quality of eye care for patients and colleagues.
