Education & Training
Dr. Patel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience, with a minor in Psychology, from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany, graduating at the top of her class and earning membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
During and after her training, Dr. Patel dedicated herself to serving underserved communities, including international vision screenings and mission trips to Jamaica, experiences that reflect her deep commitment to making quality eye care accessible to all.
Memberships & Recognition
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association and has contributed to international volunteer work through vision screenings and mission trips. Her dedication to community service is a defining part of both her professional and personal identity.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with family and friends. Her compassionate nature extends beyond her practice as she continues to find joy in connecting with others and giving back through community service.
