Dr. Sarah Wang is a fellowship-trained corneal, cataract, and refractive surgeon specializing in advanced surgical and medical management of corneal disease. With training at two of the nation’s leading institutes,Johns Hopkins and Harvard, Dr. Wang brings both precision and innovation to every aspect of patient care.

Dr. Sarah Wang’s expertise spans the full spectrum of corneal, cataract, and refractive care. Her fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute and residency at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary equipped her with advanced skills in the medical and surgical management of corneal disease.

Education & Training

Dr. Wang earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Distinction from Duke University and her Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Stephen J. Ryan, M.D. Prize in Ophthalmology. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA.

She then completed a Corneal and External Disease Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, MD, one of the nation’s most prestigious corneal programs — receiving specialized training in the full range of corneal, cataract, and refractive conditions.

Memberships & Recognition

Dr. Wang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Eye and Contact Lens Association, the Cornea Society, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

She has presented her research at national ophthalmology conferences and received recognition from the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery for research excellence.
