CURRENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES As of April 29, 2010

OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN - LAKE NORMAN

We are currently seeking highly motivated, experienced ophthalmic technicians to join our superb clinical team at our Lake Norman (Cornelius) location.

Primary responsibilities include:
- assisting doctors with preliminary candidacy screenings
- performing patient testing
- assisting surgeons with procedures

Required: A minimum of 1 year experience at the Ophthalmic Technician level. Certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology is preferred at the COA, COT or COMT level. Current CPR certification and bi-lingual a plus.

The preferred candidate will possess the following qualifications:

* Be a self-starter with strong work ethic and motivation to learn a competitive business.
* Have excellent communication skills and be detail-oriented.
* Have the interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with staff, doctors and patients.
* Be able to handle a heavy workload with multiple priorities.
* Possess excellent professional judgment.
* Have experience in a medical office.
* Be willing to travel between multiple offices.
* Have prior experience with glaucoma, retina or and/or special testing.

SPECIAL TESTING TECHNICIANS

We are currently seeking two highly motivated, experienced special testing technicians. The ideal candidates will be energetic, team-oriented, positive individuals who are dedicated to patient care and motivated by challenges.

Responsibilities include:

* Advanced understanding of all testing equipment utilized in a large ophthalmology practice including digital photography, visual fields, A-scan, OCT and others.
* Ability to adjust testing technique with all patient types to ensure accurate results Maintain superior standards in all areas of special testing including communication and documentation.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 1 year experience at the Ophthalmic Technician level
* Certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology is preferred at the COA, COT or COMT level
* Bi-lingual is a plus
