Before you purchase any eyewear, there are things to consider. To be fully satisfied and pleased with your new eyewear, it’s best to get clear beforehand on what your needs are, so that we can provide the best eyewear to satisfy them.

There are many frames to choose from. Some would be better for more casual dress and informal occasions, and some better for more formal dress and formal events. The shape of your face, your coloring, the set of your eyes and shape of your nose – all are important factors in selecting the most flattering frames for you.

There are also many prescription lens types to choose from. If you need bifocals, perhaps trifocals would actually be better for your lifestyle? If you need a strong degree of vision correction, you might want to consider aspheric lenses. We will work with you in making these choices.

Similarly, you can choose from a variety of lens materials and lens enhancements, depending on what aspects of eyewear are important to you. For example, polycarbonate lenses are the lightest and most durable lenses. If you like to be outdoors a lot, a UV coating would be important, and there are also tinted lenses and polarized lenses.

For children’s eyewear, there is the added consideration that their faces are still developing. We have a Kids Club and will be happy to work with you and your child to choose the most pleasing and suitable eyewear.
