2. Arrange for a ride home after the operation. You vision may still be blurred and the pain medication will impair your ability to drive—so this step is essential. Post-op Your eyes may tear or water, and your vision may be hazy or blurry—but don’t rub your eyes. This could dislodge the corneal flap and require additional surgery to reposition it. You may experience sensitivity to light and halos around lights. Your eyes may also appear bloodshot. This is all normal and will improve in a few days.
