Gerald B. Rosen, MD


Dr. Rosen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in Atlanta, and received his M.D. degree from State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center. He completed a full internal medicine residency prior to beginning his residency training in ophthalmology. Following his ophthalmology residency at McGill University in Montreal, Dr. Rosen completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Rochester, where he gained extensive experience in corneal transplantation, management of complex corneal disease, and advanced laser and microsurgical technique. During his fellowship, he participated in the FDA’s clinical trial of laser vision correction surgery.

Professional Highlights:

Dr. Rosen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Cornea Society. He previously served on the teaching staff of Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia for six years, where he assisted in the training of ophthalmology residents.
